Diamond Aqua

Tilak Nagar is always crowded, and we are right in the middle of it at 4A 20. Diamond Aqua is just our name for the work we do here. The street is narrow and there are always scooters parked outside. We open up the shutters around ten in the morning. It takes a while to get the dust off the counters. We handle water purifiers and different parts that people need for their homes. Being at 4A 20 means we see a lot of the same faces every day. It’s not a corporate office. It’s a shop with tools and some shelves. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside for a bit. We don't spend money on big signs or posters. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them we are here in Tilak Nagar. The work is mostly manual. We carry heavy units and fix things that are leaking. It gets noisy with all the rickshaws passing by. We keep a small diary for appointments. Sometimes we forget to write things down, but we usually remember the regulars. It’s a basic life here at the shop. We just focus on the machines and making sure things work. The floor is concrete and we have a few chairs for when someone has to wait. That’s about it for us at 4A 20. It is a simple life in a busy market.
