Christmas Gift Box

Our shop is on the first floor of Amrit Market in Sadar Bazar. If you’ve ever been to Sadar Bazar, you know how crowded and loud it can get, especially during the peak seasons. We are at No. 14-15, and our space is basically filled from floor to ceiling with boxes and wrapping materials. Christmas Gift Box is the name on the door, and as you can guess, we handle a lot of packaging and gift-related items. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the stacks of cardboard. We spend most of our time counting items, packing sets, and dealing with the constant flow of people coming up the stairs. The market is a hectic place, so we have to stay on our toes to keep track of everything. We don't have a fancy website or a big advertising budget; people usually find us just by walking through the market or through word of mouth. It’s a family-style environment where everyone chips in, whether it’s carrying boxes or talking to the vendors. Sometimes the power goes out or the stairs get blocked with deliveries, but that’s just life in this part of town. We just try to get the orders ready for the shops that buy from us. It’s a lot of repetitive work, folding and taping, but there’s a satisfaction in seeing the stacks of finished boxes ready to go out.
