Baba Crane

If you head down to the Narela Industrial Area, you’ll find Baba Crane at Plot No. J-2927. We’re pretty close to the bus stand, which makes it easy for the guys to get to work. The lot is mostly open space because we need the room for the machines. Narela is a busy spot, especially in the mornings when all the trucks are arriving. Our plot is usually a bit of a mess with chains, hooks, and old tires lying around. We don’t put on any airs here. It’s a place for heavy lifting and dirty hands. The sun beats down on the yard all day, so it gets pretty hot out there. We have a small shed where we keep the tools and take our breaks. Sometimes people stop by just to ask for directions because of the bus stand nearby. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t really notice the noise of the traffic anymore. Dealing with cranes means everything is big and heavy, so we have to be careful. We just do the work that’s in front of us. No corporate meetings or long presentations, just looking at a job and figuring out the best way to move the load. It’s a simple life at the yard. We start early, finish when the work is done, and try to keep everything moving. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. Some days are slow and others are frantic, but we just stay at it.
