Aqua Dam

Working at Aqua Dam in the Patparganj Industrial Area means we’re always around the sound of machinery and trucks. Our spot is in Madhu Vihar, specifically at C/25. It’s an industrial vibe through and through. We deal with water and everything related to it, which is important work in a place like this where things get dusty and hot real fast. The building at C/25 isn't much to look at from the outside, just some bricks and a heavy door, but it’s where we spend most of our waking hours. We’re usually busy checking the equipment or making sure the distribution side of things is running without a hitch. The roads in Madhu Vihar can get pretty jammed up, especially when the big lorries are trying to turn around. It takes a bit of patience to work here. We aren't interested in sounding like a big corporation with polished brochures. We’re just regular people who know a lot about water systems. Most days, our boots are a bit wet and our hands are busy. If you visit, don’t expect a fancy waiting room. You’ll just find a few of us in our work clothes, probably fixing something or looking over a schedule. It’s a lot of manual labor and practical thinking. We’ve been in this part of Patparganj for a while, and we’ve grown to like the rough-and-tumble nature of the neighborhood.
