Our place is out in the Libaspur Industrial Area, specifically at Khasra No.-25/4 on Street No.-1 in Master Mohalla. It is pretty much exactly what you would expect from an industrial zone, with lots of big trucks moving around and the sound of machines running all day long. We make all sorts of caps and closures here at Allied Caps & Closures Pvt. Ltd. It is a bit of a dusty spot but that is just the reality of being in this part of town. We have been set up here for a while now, and the daily routine is pretty much the same every morning when we arrive. We get the machines warmed up and then start looking through the orders we have to get through for the day. There is a lot of plastic and metal involved in what we do, so there is always a very specific smell in the air around the shop floor. Master Mohalla stays busy until quite late, and sometimes we are still here finishing up a big batch when the street lights finally come on. It is not a very glamorous job, but these caps are needed for all kinds of bottles and containers, so we stay pretty busy most weeks. We do not have a big front office or a reception area; we spend almost all of our time in the back where the actual manufacturing happens. The guys here have worked together for a long time, so we have a good rhythm.
