A.k. Enterprises

A.k. Enterprises is situated at number 75 on the Bharat Nagar Main Road in Kalkaji. Being on the main road means we get a lot of dust from the traffic, so we are constantly cleaning the front windows. It’s a busy spot, and there is always something happening outside. Inside, we have our setup where we spend most of our hours. It’s a mix of old furniture and some newer shelves we put up last year. We aren't big on decorating, so the walls are mostly bare except for a calendar and a few notices. Working in Kalkaji is interesting because you meet all kinds of people every day. Some are just passing through, while others have lived in Bharat Nagar for their whole lives. We keep our operations pretty basic at A.k. Enterprises. There’s a small back room where we keep the extra stock and a kettle for making tea. I usually spend my mornings checking what needs to be done and then the rest of the day is just handling whatever comes through the door. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but people still find us okay. We don't do any big promotions or sales. We just stay open during our regular hours and do what we've always done. It’s a steady routine that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. By the time we lock up at 75 Bharat Nagar Main Road, we’re ready.
