Up here in Dehradun, things move at their own pace. Uttarakhand Teleglobal Pvt. Ltd. is located at 145, Phase I in Vasant Vihar. It’s a decent area with some nice trees around, though the traffic has definitely picked up lately. We deal with telecommunications and global services, which basically means a lot of technical work and coordinating with people far away. Our office isn't anything spectacular, just a functional space where we get the job done. The weather in Dehradun is one of the best parts about working here, especially when the breeze comes off the hills. We spend most of our day in front of screens, handling data or talking to clients over the web. Sometimes the internet acts up, which is a headache, but we manage. We aren’t a massive company with hundreds of layers. It’s just a dedicated team that knows the technical side of things well. We’ve been in Vasant Vihar for a while now and most people in the local business circle know us. Lunch breaks are usually spent at the local stalls nearby. It’s a regular job with regular people. We don’t try to sound like something we aren’t. We just focus on keeping the connections running and making sure the projects don’t stall. If you’re ever in Phase I, you’ll see our gate. It’s a quiet place to work, usually, and we like it that way.
