We are located in Niranjanpur, at Office Number 20. Our place is on the first floor in Kashmiri Colony, which is right on Indira Gandhi Marg. Dehradun is our home and we like it here. Universal Scientific Syndicate is a small and simple setup. We deal in various types of scientific equipment and lab supplies. Most of the time, our office is just shelves full of glass tubes, meters, beakers, and different tools for science labs. It is a quiet place for the most part. We spend our days checking the inventory and taking orders over the phone from local schools or small labs in the area. The building itself is just a regular residential-style block in the colony. It isn't anything special to look at from the street. We have been operating from here for a few years. We started the business because we saw that people locally needed these things and didn't want to wait for shipping from big cities. We aren't a big corporation. It is just a few of us working here. We answer the phone calls ourselves and we pack up all the boxes for delivery too. Sometimes the heavy rain in Dehradun makes the roads slow, but we keep the shop open regardless. We don't have a mission statement or any corporate goals. We just try to get the right lab equipment to the people who need it. It’s a simple, honest business. We just keep our shelves stocked and wait for the phone to ring.
