Sri Hari Marble & Granite

We are located on the Shimla Bye Pass in Barowala, right near the State Bank of India. Being near the bank makes it easy for people to explain where we are. Our yard at Sri Hari Marble & Granite is filled with rows of stone slabs kept out in the open. The weather can be tough on the yard, but the stone is fine. We spend a lot of our time washing down the marble so the natural colors and the veins show up clearly for anyone looking. It is messy work and our boots are usually wet by the end of the day. We are not a big corporate chain. It is just a few of us and a lot of heavy rock. We have a small shed where we keep our tools and do the finishing work on the edges. Sometimes the noise is very loud when we have to cut through thick granite. We have been here in Barowala for quite a while. Most of our customers just pull over when they see the stone from the road. We do not have any big marketing plans or fancy sales people. We just show what we have in the yard and tell people the price. It is a straightforward business. We work hard, go home tired, and come back the next morning to do it again.
