Singhal Granite House

Singhal Granite House is located at Plot No 2 in Deeplok Colony. We’re right on Chakarata Road, near Krishana Nagar. It’s a decent spot for a stone yard. We mainly focus on granite slabs. My family has been doing this for a long time. It’s a lot of manual labor, as you can imagine. We spend our mornings checking the new stock that comes in on the trucks. Some pieces have better grains than others, and we try to organize them so people can see the difference. The yard can get a bit muddy when it rains, but that’s just how it is. We don’t have a big team of salesmen in suits. Usually, it’s just one of us sitting out front or helping someone measure a piece of stone. It’s an honest business. We don't try to hide anything. If a slab has a small flaw like a crack or a chip, we point it out right away. Most of our customers are locals who are building their own homes. They come to us because we’ve been here for years and years. We don’t really do much advertising at all. The stone just speaks for itself. We have a lot of different types, from the plain grey ones to the more colorful patterns. It’s a busy life, constantly moving heavy things and talking to contractors. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a simple setup and it works for us.
