Singh Edu Mentor is over here at No-812 in Dalanwala. Most people know the area because we’re right near Survey Chowk in Dehradun City. It’s a busy spot but we’ve been here for a bit now. We spend most of our days working with students who come in from all over Dehradun. Sometimes the traffic is a bit much around 248001, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We don’t have a big fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a place where we sit down and get through the lessons. Usually, I’m the one opening up the doors in the morning. People walk by on their way to work or school and we’re just part of the neighborhood. The local tea shop guy knows when we take our breaks. It gets loud outside with the cars and people talking, but inside we try to stay focused. Dalanwala has changed a lot over the years but our building stays the same. We have a few desks and chairs and plenty of notebooks lying around. It’s not about being the most polished place in Dehradun. It’s just about showing up every day and doing the work. If you’re looking for us, look for the sign near the chowk. We’ve had all sorts of kids come through these doors. It’s nice seeing them grow up right here in the city. We just keep things moving, one day at a time.
