Our studio is tucked away in Yamunotari Enclave, specifically Lane No.1 in Shivla Kala, Dehradun. It is a residential kind of area, so it stays pretty calm compared to the main city. We have a small space here where we keep all the cameras and lights. Shivam'S Photography is mostly just about capturing what’s happening, whether it is a small family thing or a wedding nearby. We spend a lot of hours sitting at the computer editing photos after the actual event is over. That part can be a bit tedious, but it is necessary. The equipment takes up most of the room. Sometimes we have to go out on location, which means lugging heavy bags around Dehradun. The weather here can be unpredictable, so we are always checking the sky before a shoot. We don’t have a big receptionist or a lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably just find one of us working on a laptop or cleaning a lens. It’s a simple life focused on taking pictures. We’ve been in this lane for a while and most people around here know us. We aren't trying to be some big national company; we just like taking photos for the people who live nearby. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy most weekends when everyone is having their parties and events.
