Shishpal Overseas (Opc) Private Limited is located over in Roorkee. To be more specific, we are out in the Buggawala area, in a place called Banjare Wala. It is a bit of a drive from the main city center but it is where we have everything set up. The office is run by the son of Kalu Ram. Being an OPC means things stay pretty simple around here without too many people running around. Haridwar is the broader district, so we see a lot of local traffic passing through on the way to other villages. The air is a bit clearer out here in Banjare Wala compared to the middle of town. We have a modest space where we handle all the overseas business tasks. It is mostly just sitting at the desk and making sure everything is in order. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, but we make it work. It is a quiet life in this part of Uttarakhand. We don’t have a big corporate office with glass walls. It is just a practical room where the work happens. Neighbors stop by once in a while to say hello. Most of the day is spent on the phone or checking files. We like being part of the local scene here in Roorkee. It feels right to keep the business close to home where we know everyone who walks by our door.
