Our company, Eagle Stone Export Pvt. Ltd., is located at No. 189 Rajpur Road. We work with different types of stone that we send to various places across the region. It is a very loud and dusty business. The yard is usually full of slabs and the sound of the cutting machines is constant during the day. I’ve been here for over a decade now, and you eventually get used to the noise in the background. The office is a small building on the edge of the yard where we keep the records and handle the sales. We aren't a big outfit with many departments. We have a handful of workers who know exactly how to handle the heavy materials without breaking them. It’s dangerous work if you aren't careful. We spend a lot of time inspecting the stones for any cracks or flaws before they are packed into the crates for shipping. Rajpur Road is a busy area, so it’s easy for our suppliers to find our location. We don’t really spend money on marketing or anything like that. We find that if you do a decent job, word gets around to others. Some days are harder than others, especially when it’s hot and the sun is beating down on the yard. But we just keep going. It’s a solid business and it keeps us all employed and busy.
