Sarb Builders Private Limited is run out of H.No. 44/A in Jagrati Vihar, which is over in the Joggiwala part of Dehradun. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it’s not like being in the middle of a commercial district. We are basically right there in Nathanpur. Most of the time, we are just working out of the house, which makes things a bit more relaxed than a big city office. Our neighbors are mostly families, so we try not to make too much of a mess or noise when we have deliveries coming in. The work we do involves a lot of planning for local construction, so you’ll usually find us hunched over a table looking at blueprints or arguing about where the plumbing should go. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way because we can actually keep track of what’s going on without needing a hundred meetings. Dehradun has been growing so much lately that there is always some new house or shop being built nearby. We just do our part in that, handling the day-to-day tasks that come with being builders. Sometimes we have to drive all over the place to check on sites, but we always end up back here in Jagrati Vihar to finish the paperwork. It’s just regular work for us, nothing too complicated or flashy, just trying to stay busy and do things right.
