Down here at Gram Radu Mundhola, things move a bit differently than in the middle of a big city. Rudrabhishek Constructions Privatelimited is based out of Chakrata, which is up in the Dehradun Hill area. Being at Hill 30 means we deal with a lot of terrain issues that people on the plains don't even think about. It’s beautiful up here, but it makes the construction business a bit of a challenge. You have to think about the slope, the soil, and how to get trucks up the narrow roads. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while now. It’s a local operation, through and through. We don't have a big corporate headquarters; we just have our office right here in the village. It’s the kind of place where you know your neighbors and people stop by to say hello. We spend our days looking at blueprints and talking to suppliers. Sometimes the mountain weather doesn't cooperate, and we have to wait out the mist or the heavy rain. But that’s just life in the hills. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just build things. Whether it's a small wall or a bigger structure, we're out there getting our hands dirty. It's honest work, and we’re glad to be doing it right here in Radu Mundhola. It’s a quiet life, but the work keeps us active and connected to this place.
