Print Tech

Print Tech is situated at 103/1 in Bhandari Bagh. It is a bit of a tucked-away spot, away from the main road, which is actually quite nice on most days. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address on the wall and the hum of the printers letting you know you are in the right place. The workshop is packed with machinery that has been with us for a long time. Every machine has its own little quirks, and you have to know exactly where to tap them or which lever to pull to keep them running smooth. We spend a lot of time moving heavy boxes of paper around and making sure the ink levels are where they should be before a run. It is not a clean environment; there are always smudges of black and blue ink on the desks and even the door handles. We don't really have a boss who sits in a separate office; we are all usually out on the floor together. Sometimes we stay late when a big job comes in, and we just order some food and keep going until everything is finished. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which makes the sound of our work even more noticeable to the people living nearby. We have a rhythm to our day that starts early and ends when the last machine is finally powered down and the lights are turned off for the night.
