Our place, Nephron Pharmaceuticals Private Limited, sits on Plot Number 3 in Village Kairwan. It’s a bit out of the way, located in the Karanpur area near Rajpur. If you know the Khasra numbers, we are at 102. Being up here in the Doon valley area means the air is a bit better than the city center, which is nice. We spend most of our time dealing with the logistics of running a pharmaceutical business from a village setting. It isn’t always easy with the transport, but we make it work. The facility is basic but it does what we need it to do. We have a small team of local folks who help out with the daily tasks. We don’t have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It’s mostly just storage and some desk space for the filing. Sometimes the power goes out, or the road to Rajpur gets a bit clogged, but that is just part of living and working in this part of the country. We keep our records in order and try to stay on top of the regulations. Most of our neighbors are just regular families or other small workshops. It’s a quiet spot for the most part. We like it that way because we can focus on the inventory without too many distractions. There’s always a lot to do, especially with the paperwork.
