Naksha Designs

Naksha Designs is located at House Number 20 on Lane Number 6. We are near Ballupur Chowk in Dehradun, just a short walk from Aashirwad Enclave. The office is basically just a part of the house. It’s a very informal setup. We have a few big tables for laying out drawings and some computers for the digital work. We mostly do house plans and architectural designs for local people. Dehradun is expanding so fast these days. We see a lot of people who want to build their dream house but don't know where to start. We sit down with them and try to sketch out something that fits their budget. It’s a lot of trial and error. Sometimes we go through ten different versions before someone is happy. The lane outside is usually quiet, which is good for focusing. We don't have any secretaries or fancy coffee machines. If you want some water, you just go to the kitchen. It’s a small, family-run kind of thing. We’ve been here for several years and have seen the neighborhood change. We just keep doing our drawings and helping people get their permits and plans ready. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy from morning till night. We don't do much marketing; we just rely on doing a decent job for people.
