Kalhan Hospital

Kalhan Hospital sits at No. 79 Rajpur Road. If you know this part of the city, you know how busy Rajpur Road gets during the day. We are right in the thick of it. The building itself is an older one, but it holds up well enough. We have been working out of this space for quite some years now. It’s nothing fancy to look at from the street. Inside, it's pretty much what you'd expect from a place like this. There are hallways that go back quite a bit. The paint in the waiting room is a light color, though it has some scuffs here and there from chairs being moved around all the time. People come in from all over the neighborhood. We see a lot of familiar faces because we've been on Rajpur Road for such a long time. There is a small area for parking out front but it fills up fast, so most people just find a spot on the side street somewhere. Our desks are usually piled with files and papers because there is always a lot of recording to do. The windows face the main road so you can see the cars and bikes going past all day. It keeps the place from feeling too quiet or isolated. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the afternoons, especially when the weather is bad. We just try to get through the list of patients one by one. It is a busy spot.
