Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, N.Delhi

Even though the name says Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, N.Delhi, this specific spot is actually located in Dehradun, over at G-15 in Nehru Colony. It’s a bit of a quiet area compared to the main city center, which is nice for the people who come to see us. Uttaranchal 248001 is a good place to be, especially with the weather being a bit cooler than down in the plains. Our office here handles the coordination and help for patients who might need to go to the bigger facilities or just need information locally. The building is easy enough to find if you know Nehru Colony well. We spend most of our mornings answering questions and sorting through files. Sometimes the waiting area gets full, and other times it is just us sitting here with the tea. We don’t have all the big machines and fancy things you see in the main Delhi branch, but we do the legwork here. The walls are a plain color and we have some basic furniture. It’s mostly about helping people figure out where they need to go next. Working in Dehradun has a different pace. You can see the hills sometimes when the sky is clear enough. It’s a practical place for a medical office to be, right in the middle of a residential pocket where people actually live and work every day. We don't make a big show of things, we just stay open and help whoever walks through the door.
