We set up shop at 58, Ansari Marg a long time ago. Being right behind the LIC Building helps people find us, even though the street gets crowded. It's a small space, but we make it work for everything we do here. There’s always paint or dust around, mostly because we're always in the middle of a project. My family has been doing this kind of work for years. We don’t really do any fancy advertising. Most people just walk in because they live in the neighborhood. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we put in our hours. Sometimes it's noisy with the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. We mostly do sign work and some painting. It’s honest work that pays the bills. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to get things done on time, especially with the drying process for the paint. We just do our bit and hope for the best. You can find us easily if you know where the big LIC building is. Just come around the back. There’s usually a bike or two parked out front. We aren’t big on formalities here. If I’m not at the desk, I’m probably in the back working on a frame or something. We’ve seen many shops come and go on Ansari Marg, but we’re still here, just doing what we know how to do for the locals.
