We are based out in Jhajra, which is part of the Premnagar area in Dehradun. It’s a bit away from the main city rush, which we actually prefer. Dyne Engicon is a small partnership. We started it because we had a background in engineering and wanted to do things our own way. The 248001 area has changed a lot since we first set up. There are more students and shops now. We spend our mornings checking emails and our afternoons out at project sites. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of dust and noise involved in what we do. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. People just find us through word of mouth or by seeing our name on a gate. Dehradun is a nice place to work, even with the traffic getting worse lately. We keep our team small so we can manage everything ourselves. It feels more personal that way. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts or late deliveries, but we make it work. It’s a practical business. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just trying to build things that don't fall apart. If you’re ever near Premnagar, you’ll probably see our sign. We’re just there doing the daily grind like everyone else. We take pride in the small stuff and making sure it gets finished eventually.
