Our office is at 105 Rajpur Road. It’s one of the main roads in Dehradun, so it gets pretty crowded. Dravya Contractors has been around this area for some time. Being a private company, we keep our operations pretty focused. We do a lot of contracting work across Uttarakhand. The hills present their own set of challenges for construction, but we’ve learned how to deal with the slopes and the rain. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. We’re a smaller group that knows how to get things done. Most of our days involve talking to laborers and checking on materials. It’s physical work and it can be tiring. The 248001 area is a good hub for us. Everything we need is usually within reach. We don't put out fancy brochures. Most of the people we work with already know us or have heard about us from someone else. We value being direct. If something is going to take longer than expected, we just say so. There’s no point in sugarcoating things in this line of work. We’ve seen the city expand all the way up the hills. It’s interesting to be part of that growth. We just keep our heads down and focus on the current job. That’s how we’ve always done it. It’s not fancy, but it is real work that we know how to handle.
