We are located at shop number seven on the first floor of the Doon Complex. It’s not a very big office, just a small room where we handle all the bookings and talk to our drivers over the phone. Most of our day is spent trying to manage the schedule and making sure there’s a car available when someone calls. Dehradun traffic can be pretty unpredictable, so we spend a lot of time checking the clocks and hoping the roads are clear. We have a small group of drivers who have worked with us for years, and we trust them to know the best routes. The office itself is usually cluttered with notebooks and tea cups. People often stop by to book a taxi for an early morning trip to the station or maybe a longer journey out of town. We don't have any of those fancy apps or high-tech systems. We just use our phones and write everything down in our logs. Sometimes a car has a flat tire or gets stuck in a jam, and we have to scramble to find another way to help the customer. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of waiting. We just try to be honest about our timing because there’s no point in promising something we can't do. It’s a small, local operation and we just take things as they come every day.
