We are Comparative Policy Design Privatelimited. Our office is at number 32 in Sumanpuri, which is off S D Road in the Adhoiwala area. We spend our days looking at policies and designing things that make sense for different situations. It is a lot of reading and thinking, to be honest. Our space in Sumanpuri is a bit cramped because of all the papers and files we have lying around on every available surface. It isn't a glamorous job, but it is what we know how to do. Adhoiwala is a busy part of town, so there is always noise from the street, but we’ve gotten used to it over the months. We don't have a receptionist or a big sign out front. If you are looking for us, you just have to find the right door in Sumanpuri. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our work well and keep our heads down. Sometimes we sit around the small table in the back and talk through ideas for hours until we get a headache. It’s just how we operate. We started this because we saw a need for this kind of specific work in Dehradun. Most of us have been living in this city for years, so we know the area well. We keep things pretty informal in the office. No suits or anything like that. Just regular people doing regular work on S D Road. It is a simple life for us here.
