A R S S V Construction Private Limited is located at number 30 in Shanti Vihar, right off Rajpur Road. If you know Dehradun, you know Rajpur Road is the main heartbeat of the city. It’s always crowded and there’s always noise from the traffic. Our spot in Shanti Vihar is a little bit tucked away from that main rush, which gives us some peace to actually get things done. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees. We are just a local crew that knows how to put one brick on top of another. Most of our days are spent coordinating with laborers and making sure the trucks arrive on time. It’s a lot of phone calls and dusty clipboards. We don’t have a fancy lobby with a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just lets people in. We drink our tea out of glass tumblers and talk about the price of steel or cement. The weather here in the valley can be unpredictable, especially during the rains, so we are always checking the sky. We’ve lived here a long time and we know the local streets like the back of our hands. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the state. We just want to finish the current job so we can move on to the next one. It’s simple work and we keep it that way.
