Nph Bricks

We have been running Nph Bricks here in Guttur Harihar for a while now. The yard is right near the Hanuman Temple, so we hear the bells ringing every morning when we start working. Most of the day is just spent moving these heavy red bricks around and making sure the stacks don’t fall over. It gets pretty dusty out here, especially when the wind picks up off the road, and everything we own seems to have a thin layer of red dirt on it. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It is just a small shed where we keep the books and take our tea breaks. The trucks come in and out all day long, sometimes getting stuck if the ground is soft from the rain. We just do our work, load the trolleys, and talk to the drivers who pass through. It is a simple life and the work is hard on the back, but we are used to it by now. Sometimes neighbors stop by just to chat because they are heading to the temple anyway. We know most of the people around here and they know us as the guys with the bricks. There isn't much more to it than that. We just keep the piles organized and wait for the next load to arrive from the kiln. It's a lot of lifting and counting, day in and day out, rain or shine.
