My office is at Door No.1856 in Ankola, right by the Sonnrakha Circle. It’s a well-known spot in town, so it isn't hard to find. I’ve spent many years working as a contractor and engineer around here. The room is usually filled with rolled-up blueprints and measuring tapes. There is dust on the shelves from all the site visits I do. I’m rarely just sitting behind the desk all day. Most of the time, I’m out seeing how a project is coming along or meeting people at different locations. When I am in the office, the noise from the circle comes right through the windows. Bikes, cars, and people walking by make a lot of sound. Ankola is a small place but it stays busy. My desk is an old wooden one that has seen better days. I keep all my notes in a series of spiral notebooks that are scattered around. It’s a bit of a mess, to be honest. But I know exactly where everything is. People stop by to talk about building things or to ask for advice on some construction. We sit and have a glass of water. It’s a straightforward way of doing business. I don’t use any big words or complicated plans. I just look at what needs to be done and try to figure out the best way to build it. It’s been my way for a long time now, and I don't see that changing anytime soon because I like the work.
