Maha Laxmi Greet & Gift

Out in Lalsot, in the Gangori Bazaar area, you’ll find Maha Laxmi Greet & Gift. It’s a local shop where we sell cards, posters, and various gift items. The bazaar is a lively place, especially on market days when people from the surrounding villages come into town. Our shop is quite simple. We have racks for the greeting cards and some shelves for the larger gift pieces. We don't use any fancy computer systems for our inventory; we just keep track of things in a notebook. It’s been that way since we started. The shop gets a bit hot in the afternoons because the sun hits the front of the building directly. We usually pull down the shades a bit during that time to keep the items from fading. We have a lot of regular customers who come to us whenever there is a festival or a family event like a wedding. It feels good to be a part of the Lalsot community. We aren't trying to expand or do anything big. We just want to keep providing the things our neighbors need. Sometimes the stock gets a bit low if the delivery is delayed by the weather, but people understand how things go here. It is just a small-town business where everyone knows everyone else. We take pride in being a reliable spot in the middle of the busy Gangori Bazaar.
