Nids

This little place called Nids is run right out of Rathkhola in Naxalbari. It is easy to find if you know where Shankar Prasad’s place is. We are tucked away in this part of the Darjeeling district in West Bengal. It is a quiet enough area most days, far away from the big city rush. Being here in 734429 means things move a bit slower, and we like it that way. We don't have a big corporate office with glass walls or anything. It's more of a home-style setup where we handle whatever work comes our way. Raakesh Prasad stays busy with the day-to-day things here. Sometimes the weather gets a bit damp because of where we are, but that’s just life in West Bengal. We don't put on any acts or try to look bigger than we are. It’s a small operation. People around here know us by name, and that usually makes things easier. We focus on the tasks at hand and don't spend much time on fancy talk. Anyway, the office is just a room with the basic stuff we need to get through the week. It’s honest work in a part of the country that we really know well. If you are ever passing through the Rathkhola area near the post office, you might see us. We are just local people doing our thing. It isn't complicated and we don't try to make it seem like it is. Just Nids, doing what we do every day. We’ve got some old wooden furniture and stacks of paper.
