If you are looking for us, we are over in Surja Sen Pally, specifically at Chandan Basak's place. This is Kadamtala, right in the Darjeeling district near Naxalbari. It’s a busy area, but we like it here. We focus on tea and other agro stuff because that’s what this part of West Bengal is known for. Living and working in Darjeeling means you’re always around tea gardens. We aren't some massive corporation with a fancy glass building. It’s just us working out of this spot. The weather here can be pretty damp, which is good for the plants but sometimes a bit much for us. We spend a lot of time checking on things and making sure the business stays afloat. Dealing with tea involves a lot of waiting and watching. We started Prabhabati Tea & Agro because we wanted to do something for ourselves in the local market. It’s mostly family and friends helping out. We know our neighbors and they know us. Sometimes we have tea together and talk about how the crops are doing this year. It isn't a fast-paced life like in Kolkata, but it keeps us occupied. We just want to keep doing what we’re doing and maybe get a bit better at it as the seasons pass. Nothing fancy, just work. Sometimes the roads are blocked when it rains hard, but we still manage to get things done.
