Kidzee

The gate at our Babu Para location usually stays open a bit before the first kids show up. Being on Srima Sarani in South Babupara means we see a lot of the neighborhood waking up while we get things ready inside. It is a bit of a routine now, moving the small chairs around and making sure the toys are where they should be, though they never stay that way for long. Some days are louder than others, especially when the weather is nice and everyone wants to be moving around at once. We spend a lot of time just managing the energy in the rooms. It is not always quiet or perfectly organized, but that is just how it goes when you have a bunch of little ones in one place. You get used to the spilled juice and the drawings that don't quite look like anything yet. The parents around Siliguri know where to find us, tucked away here in this part of town. Most of us have been working here a while, so we know the local faces and which kids are likely to need a bit more help settling in during the morning. There is always something to do, whether it is fixing a broken crayon or finding a missing shoe before someone goes home. It keeps us busy from the time we open until the last bag is packed up for the afternoon.
