Flabia Spices India Private Limited

Flabia Spices India Private Limited is based in the village of Mohanpur. We are located at the care of Udayshankar Paul’s place, near the STP post office. It’s a very rural setting, which makes sense because that is where the spices come from. We don’t have a glass office or a big paved parking lot. It is mostly dirt roads and local houses around us. The air around the village often smells like dried chili or turmeric, especially when we are moving the sacks around. We spend our days dealing with local growers and making sure the spice bags are labeled right. It’s a lot of manual labor, lifting heavy sacks and loading them onto trucks. Our office is just a simple room with a couple of chairs and a wooden table. We don't use any fancy software; mostly just notebooks and pens to keep track of what goes in and out. Being in Mohanpur means we are far away from the big city noise, but it has its own challenges, like the spotty phone signals and the long drive to get to the main highway. It is just us local folks working with spices. There are no corporate uniforms here, just regular clothes that usually end up covered in spice dust. We just try to get the work done before the sun goes down and the village gets quiet. The seasons dictate how busy we are.
