If you head over to Khudiram Pally in Siliguri, you’ll find the place where Dulal Chandra Paul is located. We are quite close to the Sabji Bazar, so it gets very crowded and lively, especially in the mornings. There is always the smell of fresh vegetables and the sound of people bargaining nearby. It’s a very local atmosphere. We don't have a big sign or a glass front like the shops in the malls. It is more of a traditional setup here. Working near the bazar means you see all sorts of people every day. It’s a lot of hard work, and things can get a bit messy with the mud during the rainy season. We just do our business the old-fashioned way. There isn't any corporate talk or complicated processes. We know our customers by name usually, or at least we recognize their faces from the neighborhood. Khudiram Pally is a tight-knit place. We’ve been here for years, just being part of the daily life of this part of town. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it's not too hot and just watch the world go by.
