Up here on St. Mary's Hill in Kurseong, things move a bit slower. Chapra Sign Of The Cross is based right here at B.C Home. It's a beautiful spot in the Darjeeling district, though the fog can get really thick sometimes. We’ve been here for a long time. People find us when they need to. We aren't out there advertising or trying to look like a big company. We are just part of the hill community. The address is 734220 if you're sending mail. It’s a quiet place, mostly. We spend our days looking after things here. The air is cold and fresh, which is nice. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few of us who know the area well. It’s an honest living. We handle the daily tasks and make sure everything is tidy. The building has some history to it. You can see the tea gardens not too far away. We like it this way. No corporate meetings or polished reports. Just local people doing what needs to be done. If you walk up the hill, you’ll find us easily. It’s a steep walk but worth it. We just stay focused on our small corner of West Bengal. It’s enough for us. We don't need much else. It's a good place to be. We just keep our heads down and do our part for the community around St. Mary's Hill.
