We are located in the Bafna Building over on Dr. Kalinath Road in the Naya Bazar area of Siliguri. If you know Siliguri, you know how crowded and lively Naya Bazar gets. Our holding number is 90/667/7/435, which sounds complicated but we are easy enough to find once you are in the neighborhood. Amrit Kalash Foods is where we handle our daily business. It’s a busy spot with lots of trade happening all around us. The building itself has seen a lot of years, and our office is just a practical space for us to work. We don't have any fancy signs or expensive furniture. It’s mostly just shelves, desks, and a lot of activity. Siliguri is a gateway for everything moving toward the hills or over to the northeast, so we see a lot of different people. Some days are just pure chaos with the loading and unloading, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the market. The Darjeeling weather keeps things interesting, especially during the monsoon when the rain really comes down on the roof. We just stay focused on getting the food products sorted and out the door. It is a no-nonsense kind of place. We don’t put on airs. We are just a local Siliguri business trying to keep up with the demands of the Naya Bazar trade every single day without making a big fuss about it.
