St Mary School

We are located right on the Main Road in Doghra, which makes us pretty easy to find if you're traveling through Sitamarhi. Being on the main road means there is always a bit of traffic noise coming from outside, but you get used to it after a while. The school has been here for a good bit, and the walls have that look of a place that has seen many rainy seasons over the years. We have a playground out back where the kids run around during their break time, usually kicking a ball or playing tag with each other. The classrooms are basic but they have what is needed for a student to learn. We don't spend much on flashy signs or big advertisements in the paper. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or their relatives who went here before. Our teachers are usually busy from the moment they arrive until the last student leaves the gate. It is a lot of work keeping everything in order, especially when it’s hot outside. We have a small office where we keep the records and meet with parents when they have questions. It’s nothing fancy, just a desk, some files, and a few chairs. Sometimes the floor gets a bit dusty from the road outside, but we sweep it up and keep going. It is a very practical place to go to school. We just focus on the daily routine and making sure the students are doing their work every day.
