Green Bricks

Green Bricks is located in Ward No. 32, right in the Ekmighat area of Loheriasarai. If you know where the Central Bank of India is around here, then you can’t miss us. We have been operating in this neighborhood for quite a while now. It’s a decent place to work, though it gets quite crowded with traffic during the day. We are just a bunch of regular guys making sure the bricks get where they need to go. There isn’t much to say about us that isn’t obvious just by looking at the yard. We work with our hands and we use the local soil. Sometimes the batches come out a little different depending on the mud, but that’s just how natural materials are. We don't use any fancy machinery that does everything for us; there is still a lot of sweat involved. People stop by on their way to the bank sometimes just to ask about prices or to see what we have ready. We aren't big on paperwork or long meetings. We just write things down in a ledger and get back to the stacks. The sun can be brutal in Loheriasarai, but we just find some shade and keep going. It is honest work and it keeps us fed. We’ve seen the town grow and we’re glad to be a part of it in our own small way. It’s just us and the bricks in Ward 32.
