Our office for Galkund Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited is up in the Dangs. We are located in Kamad village, near Galkund. If you have ever been to this part of Gujarat, you know it’s very different from the plains. There are a lot of trees and hills, and the air feels a bit cleaner. We are a farmer producer company, which basically means we are a group of local people working together. Life in the Dangs moves at its own pace. We aren't in a hurry like people in the big cities. Most of our work involves meeting with the farmers in the village to see how their crops are doing and how we can help them get a better price for what they grow. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of walking. The roads around Kamad can be a bit rough, especially when it rains during the monsoon season. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or high-tech gear. Just a table, some chairs, and a lot of notebooks. Everyone here knows each other. It’s a community effort to make sure the families in our area have what they need to keep farming. We focus on the basics. It’s about seeds, soil, and hard work. Being away from the industrial areas means we have to be more self-reliant. That’s just how it is for us here in Galkund. We’re proud of where we come from and the work we do together.
