We are located in Ward Number 8 of Tendukheda, in the Dobhi area. Our group started because the farmers around here were tired of working in isolation. It’s a small operation, mostly run from a simple building in the village. We don't have a lot of money for fancy things. Most of our budget goes into getting supplies for the members. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want the people in Tendukheda to have a fair chance when they go to sell their produce. It’s a lot of manual labor and long days in the sun. When we are in the office, we’re usually sorting through receipts or talking about the next planting season. The weather can be a real problem around here, so we try to plan for the dry spells. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone. We’re just farmers who decided to get organized. It’s a bit of a learning curve for all of us. Dealing with banks and government offices takes up more time than we’d like. But it’s worth it when we see the crops doing well. We’ve been part of this community for a long time, and the company is just another way for us to stick together. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep our heads down and do the work day after day.
