U.K Fisheries

We are based in Mangalore, which is a great place to be if you are working with fish. U.K Fisheries has been around for a good while now in the 575020 area of Karnataka. If you live around here, you know how the weather can be, especially when the monsoon hits the coast. Our days usually start very early, often before the sun is even up, because you have to get things moving while it is still cool. Most of the guys working here have spent their whole lives around the water. It is not a very clean or dry job, as we are always dealing with ice, water, and the smell of the sea, but it is what we know. We supply to local markets and a few other spots nearby. We do not have a big air-conditioned office with fancy furniture. Our main workspace is just a small room with a sturdy desk where we keep our logs and records. Sometimes the catch is not what we hoped for or the trucks get stuck in traffic, but we just deal with those things as they come. It is hard work and it keeps us on our feet all day. People in Mangalore know where to find us if they need a supply. we do not bother with big posters or radio ads. It is a simple setup and we just try to get the fish where they need to go.
