Taluk General Hospital

You can find us on the Main Road in Srirampet right near the post office which is a landmark everyone knows. Taluk General Hospital is a busy place because we serve a lot of people from the surrounding areas who don't have many other options. The building is quite large but it always feels full because there is so much going on. We have benches lined up in the corridors where people sit and wait their turn and sometimes it gets quite loud with children playing or people talking. The smell of the hospital is something you get used to after working here for a few months. Being near the post office means there is always a lot of foot traffic outside our gates and the tea stall across the street does a lot of business from our visitors. We deal with a lot of paperwork every single day because that’s just how a general hospital works. Some of the windows don't close all the way so we get a breeze in the evenings which is nice when it’s been a hot day. The staff here works long shifts and we often share tea in the tiny breakroom when there is a quiet moment. It’s a government facility so things move at their own pace and we do what we can to help the people of Srirampet get through their health issues.
