Taluk General Hospital Sullia

This is the Taluk General Hospital in Sullia and we are located right where the medical officer of the government hospital has their office. Sullia is a quiet town for the most part but the hospital is usually the busiest building around. We have a lot of greenery around the compound which makes it look a bit more peaceful than your average city hospital. The walls are painted that standard government light blue color that has faded over the years. We have a lot of different departments all under one roof so there is always someone looking for a specific room or doctor. The staff here is a mix of people who have been here for decades and some younger folks doing their rotations. We spend a lot of time walking back and forth between the wards and the pharmacy. Sometimes the computers are slow and we have to write everything down in big ledger books like they did in the old days. It’s not a fancy private place with air conditioning in every room but we have enough fans to keep the air moving. People come in from the hills nearby often carrying their bags and waiting patiently for their turn. We just keep the routine going day after day making sure the doors are open and someone is there to see the patients who arrive from early morning until late at night.
