Jyothi Hospital

Being near Jyothi Circle makes it easy for people to find us, which is lucky because the traffic around the roundabout can be a real mess during the rush hour. We are right in the middle of things here. Our hospital has been part of this neighborhood for a long time. You can hear the horns honking outside while we work, but inside we try to keep things a bit more organized. The building itself is an older one, so it has its quirks, like the way the door sticks in the rainy season. We have a small group of nurses and doctors who have been together for years. We usually start the day with a quick tea before the first set of patients starts arriving from the circle. It’s a mix of all kinds of people, some just passing through and others who live right around the corner. We don't spend much time on decorations or anything like that. We just make sure the beds are ready and the medicine cabinet is full. Sometimes it feels like we are always running to catch up with the paperwork, but that's just part of the job. It’s a very practical environment where the focus is just on the person standing in front of us. We stay open late because you never know when someone might need help near the circle. It’s a busy life, but it’s our life here and we are used to the noise and the constant pace of the street.
