Hind Agro Industries Ltd. (Hind Group)

Our office is out by the port area, specifically on Port Road in Bunder. We use Po. Box No. 143 for most of our mail because things can get a bit mixed up at the actual docks sometimes. Hind Agro Industries Ltd. is part of what people call the Hind Group, but here on the ground in Bunder, it’s just us dealing with the agro products day in and day out. Being near the water means there’s often a bit of a breeze, but there is also a lot of dust from the heavy trucks passing by the gate. We spend a lot of our time checking on shipments and making sure the storage units are okay for the grain. It’s not a clean or shiny office by any means. We have old maps pinned on the walls and thick ledgers sitting on the desks. The people who work here have been around for a long time and know the business well. We handle grain and other agricultural items that come through the port gates. It’s heavy work sometimes, and the coastal weather really dictates how our day is going to go. If it’s raining hard, everything slows down to a crawl. We aren't some big corporate tower; we’re just a functional building near the shipping lanes. Most of our day is spent on the phone or walking down to the storage areas to see what’s arrived on the ships. We’ve been here a long time.
