Gurucharan Industries

Gurucharan Industries is located at Plot No. Qg-1, 2, and 3 in the Industrial Estate at Baikampady. Being out here in Mangalore’s main industrial hub means we are surrounded by all kinds of manufacturing plants and warehouses. Our plots are quite large, which gives us the space we need for the fabrication work and the heavy machines we use. The weather in Baikampady can be quite tough, especially when the monsoon hits and the rain hammers down on the metal roof. It gets pretty loud inside the shed then. We focus on industrial fabrication, so there’s always a bit of welding smoke and the smell of cut iron in the air. The team here is mostly local guys who have been working with metal for years. We have a small office room where we keep the plans and the computer, but most of our time is spent out on the shop floor. It’s a dusty, hard-working environment, and we don’t put on any airs about it. People come to us because they know where we are in the estate and they know we just get the job done. Sometimes the electricity flickers when the big machines start up, but we just work around it. It’s a straightforward industrial life, and we’ve been at this location long enough to know all the local transport guys.
