Westend Minerals & Chemicals

We are located out in Village Paravedi, specifically at R S No. 52/P in the Godhra Tahsil. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, but this is where the work is. Westend Minerals & Chemicals isn't a shiny factory with glass walls. It is a working site where things are a bit rough around the edges. We deal with minerals and various chemicals, so there is always a lot of heavy equipment around and the smell of the earth being moved. The ground is usually uneven, and you definitely need to wear sturdy boots when you walk around the site. We have a small office block that is mostly used for keeping records and having the occasional meeting. It is often quite hot out here, and the dust can be a real nuisance during the dry season. Most of our workers come from the nearby villages. We aren't a big city corporation with a lot of rules and fancy titles. We just focus on the raw materials and getting them processed correctly. Sometimes the machinery breaks down, and we have to spend the whole day fixing it under the sun. It’s tiring work, but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing the piles of processed minerals ready for transport. We don’t do much in the way of promotion. The quality of what we dig up and process usually speaks for itself. It’s just life in the village, working with the land every day.
