Wasim Trading Company

You can find Wasim Trading Company over in Buxibazar, specifically at Tinkonia Bagicha in the Makarba Sahi area. We operate out of the Shalimar building. It’s a bit of an old area with narrow streets and lots of activity. We deal with various trading goods, so our inventory changes depending on what’s available and what people are asking for. The office is often full of samples and half-opened crates. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. We’ve been part of the Buxibazar community for quite some time. It’s a place where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who drop in to check on their orders. We don't use any fancy sales tactics or scripts. We just tell people what we have and what the price is. Sometimes things get delayed with the shipping, and we have to explain that to our customers, which isn't always fun. But we try to be as honest as we can about it. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and keeps our goods dry. Most of us here have lived in this part of town our whole lives. We just keep our heads down and get the work done, moving boxes and checking manifests until it's time to lock up and head home for the evening. It is just a normal local business.
