Shree Jagannath Trading Co.

Shree Jagannath Trading Co. is located at Shop No- 23, right near the main Cuttack market area. It is a very busy spot to be in, especially on the local market days when the roads get crowded with people, bicycles, and carts. We have been here in Abhimanpur for a good while. The shop itself isn't very large, but we pack it full of whatever we are trading that week. It can get a bit cluttered inside, honestly, and it is hard to move around sometimes. We usually have a few bags of things sitting right near the front door for easy access. We spend a lot of time talking to people who walk by or stop in to ask about current prices. It is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else. Sometimes the power goes out in the hot afternoon, so we just sit outside on the wooden stools until it comes back on. We handle the paperwork by hand mostly because it is simpler that way for us. The post office is nearby, so that makes it easy for us to send and receive our letters. We aren't trying to do anything big or fancy. We just open up in the morning, sweep the floor, and wait for the first customers to arrive. The traffic from the market can be loud, but it keeps things lively. Sometimes we run out of stock faster than expected and have to wait for new arrivals.
